A lot of riders are having fun in the half-pipe playground called Kip’s Canyon.
Now the fun area has been extended, with an extra plunge into the gully, up on to a high berm, and down . . . but the “down” has got a drop-off half-way, launching you into the dip and up the other side.
It’s not a serious drop-off. You can roll it, but it might change your approach to this last section.
Lots of rock and road base have been put in the creek bottom at both crossings, like the rest of Kip’s Canyon, to ensure a solid surface, no matter what the weather brings.
